The GM part number for this ECU is 12617568 and the hardware code is 12612384. Enthusiasts commonly refer to this module as a E38 Engine Control Module (ECM).

Once we receive your order, we will pull a used, but inspected and tested, ECU from our inventory and program it with the latest GM calibration for a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado with the 5.3L LH6 engine and 4L70E transmission. IMPORTANT! If this ECU will be installed in a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado, you must provide us with your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) for compatibility.
